Do you think shortage-affected new cars are... "inferior" in some ways? Any concerns?

if a chip shortage means that car makers will offer real base editions at reasonable prices, i’m in. i prefer a simple driving machine, not an electronic-nannied, tarted-up, rolling text and wifi lounge.

What it turns out to mean is they will use what chips they have to make the most loaded examples possible.

If you are going to make 1/2 the cars, you need 2x the profit per car.
