Do you have to shake oil before pouring?

Do you have to shake oil before pouring? Uh, What does the bottle say?

I don't, I wouldn't unless told to do so by the bottle... FYI: My valvoline is 100% homogenous and nearly clear, no particulates from what I can see!

I use 55 gallon drums. shaking is difficult at best.
