Do these brake pads look used?

look to me like someone opened the box, may have put them on rotor...then removed.. at worst

This is an example of you never know what your going to get ordering online. Those pads look like someone "tried" to install them, but then the "installer" then realised that they didn't fit! Rockauto will sell you stuff like this time to time also. I ordered a set of low priced ACdelco "Professional" pads from them for my Protege. They showed up covered in copper anti-sieze. I was able to clean them up and use as they were apparently never "installed", but it's stuff like this that makes me leery of ordering parts online.
