Should one simply wash off the liberated mung from claying vs. wiping and "buffing" back onto the surface?

Wiping off gently in one direction with a plush MF towel will be fine. No need to buff. Flip, fold over towel often so the towel isn't too dirty when wiping or just get a new towel. The spray I use has plenty of lubricity and cleaning power in fact it's a waterless wash. I use the concentrate from Ultima. I know it's a little off putting seeing all that dirty solution on the car but seeing the end result makes it all worth it.

I use car wash soap for clay lube, and rinse the car when I'm done.
