Yeah, I remember the bus (I think) was in California. That thing did not stop for too much and hit everything in its way.

I don't know his pizza car is a 2007 Civic. A nice ride in my book!

Take care, bill

There was a Greyhound bus in Houston; and get this; some dude got impatient and ticked-off because he thought departure was taking too long, so the idiot jumped in and took off for San Antonio down I-10. I guess the idiot thought he would not be caught in a 50 foot long Greyhound?

The fire truck? BRAND SPANKIN' NEW, bought by the city of Beaumont TX. During one of its very first runs, a street punk hopped in, while a fire was in progress, and drove away. Witnesses SAW him laughing hysterically as he drove through town. He flipped it over turning a corner, and it slid into a large utility pole. Bent the frame, totaled it out. The creep claimed he "blacked out" and "didn't remember anything". Probably got off with probation. Beaumont is full of goons like that.

Well I originally had the Malibu and it has a key FOB independent of the key so I can leave the key in the car and leave it running get out and hit the lock button on the FOB but the Civic has the FOB and key built together so I can't do that anymore. I always keep it in sight and in worse neighborhoods I do sometimes stop it and lock it, but I'm more worried of getting robbed myself than having the car stolen.

My wife is getting her license soon and didn't want a payment so I went ahead and bought the Civic and when she gets her license I'll drive the Civic and have her drive the Malibu. My reasoning for that was since shes never really driven cars before Id rather have any accidents that may occur due to inexperience happen to the older car, also the Civic gets about 5 MPG better than the Malibu, about 28 vs 23 on average and I thought it would make more sense to drive the car that gets better MPG for the pizza job to save money on gas. Although adding 100+ miles a day to the newer car may not be a good idea either so thats a toss up I guess.

I don't know if the Civic would let the doors lock with the key in the ignition and running, these new cars are weird sometimes, I was thinking of trying the use the valet key to start the car and carring the key with FOB in my pocket but thats only something I want to do if I shouldn't stop and start it everytime.

Then my friend told me that since the car is warmed up I won't cause any damage to the engine by stopping it and starting it at each stop. I make up to 25 deliveries a night so its getting stopped and started 25 times when I get to the pizza shop and I wasn't sure if I should double that to 50 times by doing it at customers homes as well, and while I may not be hurting the engine there is also the ignition and starter to consider and I am not knowledgable enough to make the call so I thought I'd ask on here about it while getting an answer about my oil as well. Sorry if it isn't proper to double up posts like this, I do realize the start stop question has nothing to do with post title.

About the oil again, would running synthetic and running the OLM to 0% twice on one change void the warranty? I was worried about that since it was certified preowned they gave me a powertrain warranty up to 2014 or 100,000 miles and non powertrain to 2012 or 48,000 miles and I bought a warranty when signing that extended the warranty for 100,000 miles to cover electrical parts as well.

Until I make a decision after getting more information when the time comes I'll probably run a blend or Full Synthetic and just follow the OLM.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm glad I found this website.
