Gas is going to keep going down as demand plummets.
Record low trucking = lower diesel
Record high lay offs = lower gas prices.
Opec has been cutting production at record pace and still cant keep the price afloat.
Gas in my area went from 3.79 to 2.59 in one month. (really this is the case in the states next to me too).
Although depending on the car I use 93 or 87, and 93 is only 60c more and then my 20c discount.

China demand low
Cold winter weather
Local taxes
It's all very interesting but one thing is constant supply & demand rein supreme usually.

Always interesting to see what is being charged in one's specific neighborhood. Thanks for the update!
yeah, diesel is around 425 where I live, regular is about 320.. spot pricing in my area, and different counties have different options for local sales taxes on that stuff too

It would be interesting to see it "Itemized" but we'd still pay the same price. I don't know anything about CO2 fees.
All I know is that the price I pay at the pump is artificially inflated. In June, 45 cents per gallon of Washington State's gas prices went to pay the new "Cap and Trade" costs imposed on fuel providers by the state. This gets passed on at the wholesale level to the cost of gas at the pump. California has a similar scheme that drives up their prices, too.

Interesting set-up. What are you paying now in your area?

son, that is a function of your local government problem of effectively being controlled by the people of King County..

where I live we have zero of that nonsense and gas just went below 3 and diesel below 4. My political leader in my state would rather attack the largest employer in the state ( the mouse people) or pay to fly illegals from Texas to Marthas Vineyard with taxpayer money to score points than raise taxes to do something like try to reduce Carbon emissions. :)
