diesel fuel dirt

This seems to be the biggest problem I face with diesel fuel in my travels. I try to buy from only clean looking stations that look busy but as I am often on the road it's hard to tell. All of this could be from one station or a build up over time. From my Ford 6.7 superduty.

^^^ is why I added the Throttle up kit to my 2012 Cummins powered Ram. Extra filtration won't hurt anything IMO. I change my fuel filters every spring (all 3 of them).

It's dirt for sure. Like sandy mud if that makes sense
that's scary with the cost of a HPCR system today! Is this the first time you have seen this? You might want to consider changing fuel locations if you shop at the same place all the time. My filters get dirty (black) but never anything grit related that I can tell. When I change the canisters in the spring I will do a C&P of the internals.
