Hello

I have a toyota hilux 3.0 d4d 2011 diesel.

I was in the process of buying engine oil, and stumbled over a pile of this oil cheap.

http://www.pennasol.com/products/motor-oils/pennasol-super-special-sae-5w-30/

My owners manual says i should use 5w30, acea b1 CD-CF

This one is 5w30 acea a1 b1 a5 b5 SL but not any C diesel class.

But the website says its also for diesel

I already bought some of the oil, is it dangerous to use in my loved toyota?

I have Land Cruiser with 3.0 D-4D and takes ACEA A3/B3 B4. This is pre-DPF engine. So, considering you are 2011, it should be ACEA C3.

Since it is 2011...and "loved" I would use anything in ACEA C3/C4... Vw504/507 MB 229.51 or BMW LL-04...

Shells oil tool even suggest their Rimula 5w30 wich is in E6/E9

It is average engine. I have it in Europe in Land Cruiser Prado (what is here Lexus GX470) and, trust me, there are much better diesels out there.

KD engine? Since Prado is what I have (J9 chassis)....it had both KZ & KD engines.....but these are "old school" diesels......from 90s

Yes, don't worry about the oil, anything will do, but do worry about the cooling system, that is what will kill it. New cyl heads are pretty cheap here, repair is not an option.

It is 4cyl, so not sure weight comparison to V6.
I know SAR used them in Bosnia but withdraw them very fast due to reliability.
