Product description. They point out that it is a "stay in grade" oil. If you look at the analysis of the S3000 Amsoil has, it holds it's TBN much better then there other oils. The mobil description also mentions it's great TBN retention. I think for long term drains, these oils are the way to go even in gas engines.
