I am thinking about mixing in 1 qt of chevron synthetic with delo in my bronco 2. any opinions?

Read this thread. The additives for a Group III oil (which is what Chevron synthetic is) and a Group II oil (which is what Delo is) are NOT compatible. Chance are you will wind up with an oil that is not as good as either one of the two you mixed.
Technically they are compatible...you won't end up with black chewing gum or black cottage cheese or some such glop in your engine. But...as G-ManII said, the mixture won't work very well for you, either.
