Dealers can't even get in RIGHT Oil

My neighbor took his Lamborghini Murcielago to Lamborghini Orlando for it's first oil change. After getting the car back he complained to me that it seemed to have slowed down. I checked the paperwork and sure enough they used Castrol GTX 20W-50 instead of the Agip 5W-40 synthetic oil recommended by the manufacturer.

I called the service department and they told me this is Florida and the thicker oil was needed. He had no answer for using dino oil instead of synthetic as spec'd.

He never asked how the car was used. I think this is important for any driver. High BHP, high RPM use requires thicker, viscosity stable oil whereas lesser loads do not. My neighbor only drives around town, not on the track and the oil never gets above 200 F.

I use 0W-30 Mobil 1 in my Murcielago.
