This filter was brand new and has less than 1 hr on it. The hydraulic pump started whining and power steering was sluggish. I suspected a plugged filter and boy was I right!

The tractor sat in a shed for 30yrs unused and im slowing bringing it back to life. before even running it, it got a trans fluid and filter. I think Its going to get the fluid done again soon. I also added 1 gallon of MMO.

The clumpy stuff have a greasy/wax consistency I guess from the oil fluid.

How do I know the filter is plugged? well it went into bypass and then plugged the bypass valve screen and broke it!!

Is it possible to do a flush without using a filter? Perhaps try a bunch of cheap fluid to get the junk out. I worry this will only happen again during the next attempt.
