Curious about old cans of Castrol

Years ago, I bought a case of Castrol 20-50 (still in cardboard "cans") at an auto flea market. I had planned to use it in an old VW Beetle I had, but forgot all about it. Having read through a couple of threads on old unused oil, I'm wondering if I could use it in my '63 Buick 215 V8.

I'd like to send a sample in for analysis to see if, and how, it may have deteriorated. Obviously, UOA looking for products of combustion and motor wear isn't an issue. What sort of test should I request? Since the test is likely much simpler and I am not sampling over time, I am guessing the cheapest lab around could do the job. Any recommendations on economical labs?
Thanks in advance.

Ia the oil older than 1963? If not, I would think the specs would meet the requirements of the Buick. I am sure that the oil itself is still as good as the day it was canned.

I don't see that any special test will be needed. Send it to some facility that also tests for sulfur content as well.
