Anyone a member? I owned a panther years ago and I'm looking to get another one. I'd like to find out more about them so
I decided to join.. a week ago. My membership still hasn't been approved yet. Does this take this long usually??

I am but haven't been there in a few years. Last time I posted I tried to explain a discrepancy someone had in a Ford part number and was ridiculed and told that I "didn't know what i was talking about" so I never went back.

I am not a member but have been there a time or two looking for info to help me fix my mother in law's Crown Vic. I remember finding a very good, very detailed tutorial there on control arm replacement. I never posted there but I did see that like any other internet forum they have their share of smart alecks, idiots, know-it-alls and just plain rude people. I am not a Ford person but there did seem to be a fair number of relevant posts from knowledgeable people.

I've been a member there for a while. It's the best web site for panther vehicles. It's hit or miss with the quality of information you get. As with any automotive web site, you sometimes need to grow thick skin to deal with the comments.

I joined and made a few posts, years ago, never went back. I never really owned a Crown Vic, just drove them (law enforcement). I've been buying them at auction and reselling for many years though, thus my interest. However the people on there have to be smoking the absolute most potent dope in the world for the prices they try to sell their cars for. They might be very decent vehicles, but they aren't that good...not my cup of tea.

After seeing the body almost roll off the frame of a 79 LTD in the Dukes of Hazzard episode "Daisys Song"(watch when they raid the studio, and it rounds a tight corner),and seeing all the body rust on them around here (especially M GM models),I know all I need to know about Panthers....

Nothing wrong with a CV IMPO, They have been serving people very well and there engines are known for there long life.

No offense but 1979 was a long time ago; and back then when a studio knew they were going to trash a car they didn't start with a pristine one.

I have been there since 2003, and my interest has waned considerably recently. I'll be getting rid of my '89 CV soon. I have gotten good information there when I needed it. In 2011 I learned what I needed to know to replace my heater core. Nasty Job.

I'd just like to get my account approved. I WAS a member around 03-04 but I since forgot my log in credentials and no long have access to that email. There IS a LOT of info that I want to get my hands on..
