Now, I have a failed brake hose that I was trying to get replaced today. The failed brake hose is now stuck and I'm just trying to figure out what to do next.

I can't live with have a range of only 3 miles, give or take, because the pressure makes the car undriveable.

So, I've come up with the following ideas.
1. plug up the banjo bolt somehow to lessen the flow
2. Leave the section unbled of air to allow for the brake pads some freedom of movement.
3. Fanagling the flare nut with pliers hoping it cathces the right thread.
4. Figuring out if cutting tools of some sort can non destructively keep the brake line intact while destroying the hose....

backin the day with some of our rusted out off road only trucks that we only used out in the woods... if a brake line rusted out we just hammered the metal tubing flat until the brake line would not pass any fluid... keep in mind this isn't the good way to repair something, especially if you drive more than 10 miles an hour but it did work pretty well for curing a brake fluid leak. .

Depends on how valuable is your life?
And somebody else's.
I personally would not be doing those types proposals with brakes. Seems like a better approach would be to go up to the next connection point and replace from there. Flaring lines is relatively simple as well if you need to add a section. I did my entire Expedition without any prior experience on flaring.
Answering TRAV's question would help you get some more specific advice how to make the repair or what to replace.
Was the problem on a line fitting or on the caliper?
