It is probably an air cooled engine oil. SJ is pretty far back in approvals, I'm guessing at least 10-15 years ago. It probably has a lot of zinc(good) and a Group one base(bad). Unless it is in the larger jugs, the typical lawn mower oil is quite pricy per quart in my recent purchases.
 
I don't think this should have been moved. Even though its about "small engine" oil, my question was about using it in cars.

Ya it is kind of pricey but I like the high-zinc aspect. I may just have to run some in my Explorer for laughs.
 
Actually Wal Mart has it at a decent price. Briggs, i think and it comes in a weird size of 1 and a half quarts or something.

It could be most anything. I see no reason why an SM oil wouldn't qualify as an SJ oil.
 
If you're wondering about the composition, send a sample out for VOA - I'm sure it's good stuff.
