It has long been known for ethanol fuel to dry up carburetor rubber parts like metering diaphrams, and seats. Steves small engine saloon on youtube seem to suggest its not just the ethanol but other chemicals that I forgot the name of. My question is this 90 octane recreational fuel, if this just regaulr gas with no ethanol added, and is this fuel excellent for vintage carburetors?

Overall what is everyone's opinion of this fuel.

Just grabbed 3 gallons today from sheetz. 90+ rec e0
$4.18/gal A veritable bargain beaver petroleum in waco who I have bought hundreds of gallons from over the years is currently over $5
I need some to fire up the new generator, mix a gallon of 2 cycle.. and top off the tractor.
I considered 5 gallons but this should hold me until mid may so why hold on to old gas.

i only use EO fuels in my small engined equipment, a small cost increase due to minimal useage$$$
