That's the bad thing about ferraris you cant really mod them no one makes parts! And I had a 03' Zo6 heavily modded until I got married and had a kid now I'm stuck with a grocery getter (smack head)quote:

It's alright 99si; some people just can't accept the fact. I see it all the time at local drag strips/SCCA events. "But what if you modified the Ferarri"
Hey everyone is entitled to there own opnion but the fact of the matter is that a stock z06 will hang with a 360 modena ferrari street strip or track and for a price tag of about $200,000 less.quote:

onequick99,
I don't think so, the Corvette driver just had more guts to drive at a higher speed then the driver of the Ferrari, for all we know, the Ferrari driver just got the car and doesn't know how to drive the car.
Of course I think the Ferrari driver had more concern for the other people on the road then the Corvette driver, IMO.

I say the loser is the person who pays $250,000 for a car that is no faster than a $50,000 car duh!!!quote:

I was at the front, there was a opening for one car, I passed and the other car crashed the truck and 2 guys died at that moment. There is no even one single day that moment does not come to mind. I was 22 years old at that time..please dont do it to yourself or someothers....
I seriously doubt that the average Ferrari owner gives a rats rear end what some wanker in a Corvette thinks.quote:

I'm saying that as a Corvette owner.
If at the end of the day I was taking my sweetheart out to dinner in a ferrari I would kick my own azz for not spending the money on a better carquote:

The fact of the matter is, any car you build will be faster than some, and slower than others. It's just that some cars take to modifications well, and can be purchased cheaply.
With the same amount of $$ into an Evo8 as you would have into a 360 modena, or even a GT3, you would absolutely demolish them on a racetrack, both straight line and corners.
The difference is that at the end of the day, when you take your sweetheart out to dinner, you're not in a ferrari.
I'd rather have the better car. I don't need a status symbol to pick up women.
See onequicksi, I told ya it was coming. I knew it.quote:
