correct oil/gas mixing

I have a Ryobi gas trimmer that requires a mix of 32:1.
I use a 1 gal 6 oz gas "can" for the mixture.
Is there a site or formula online where I can figure out how much oil to use with this amount of gas, thanks

The owners manual should say how much oil to add.

A regional chain has oil in various ratio 'bags', so mixing is easy.
Some stores carry small bottles of 2-cycle oil that are 'universal'; one bottle covers most ratios.
Lawn boy uses 32:! as well, check with a dealer or their web site.

If my math is correct it looks like 4.2 ounces is all you need for 1gal.6 ounces. 134 ounces divided by 32 , is how i'd figure it

just get 1 gallon of gas, put 4ounces of oil= 32:1.

1 gallon = 128 fluid ounces
128 ounces/32 = 4 ounces

If that can indeed holds 1 gal, 6 oz, just add a full 4 oz of 2-cycle oil, then fill the can with gas. The resulting mix will be 32.5:1, and your trimmer will never know the difference.
