Converting Garden Tub To Shower

My son is renting a house with one of the bathrooms having a garden tub. He wants to convert to a shower but he can’t tear it out and redo. I know you can buy hand held shower heads. Is there some way to sort of enclose the tub? The rub is built on a 45 in the corner of the bathroom. A straight rod won’t work???

Already has. I just don't know how to do a 45 degree angle on the curtain rod to wall. It's gonna be a looooong rod.

How about a double curtain with a hanger / support to the ceiling in the center for the curtain rod.
