In another thread I was accused of posting at one time that Conoco Syncon was "never a PAO" based oil. I PM'd the person and asked him to provide me with a link to the post where I made that statement. He couldn't. What he did come up with was a post in which I said I wasn't totally convinced that Conoco Syncon was PAO-based, which is true--I wasn't. But I never declared unequivocally that it wasn't because I didn't know for sure.
