Netflix has been very aggressive with their Super HD codec and the 4K support. I too would be interested.

Interesting.
We no longer have NF. Use Amazon streaming mostly (happy to see it comes so close to BR), and blu rays for "repeat watch/must own" blu ray collection.

Interestingly, my roku has awful pic quality when compared to my samsung bluray streaming.

Both set at 1080P.

Internet speed 30mb/s

Both are wired or wireless?

Both are wireless

Keep moving your ROKU box around, sometimes raising or lowering it also. A couple models are sensitive for picture quality, until placed in the ideal transmission location.

The Roku starts out really bad, then "clears up", but never gets sharp. It's close enough to my N600 Router. Moving it helps not.

My Samsung Blu Ray is 2X sharper while streaming.

Is this the entry-level ROKU Player? If so, then upgrade next time. I have two models and both receive wireless or wired transmissions. The one in the main living room offers a 1080-type pic wired. A little less resolution (700ish) when wireless.
