Comparing Two Tar Removal Products

[The Critic]

I have access to both of these products. They are both petroleum based products which are designed for removal of tar, adhesive, etc. Which of these products is more potent, and why?

well one looks alot safer to use than the other.

So I'm guessing the first one is stronger.. but I dont think I would use anything containing acetone on paint.

skip the acetone; its strong stuff. A little kerosene or gas on a rag will dissolve tar.

I don't have the knowledge to determine the potency of either. What I can say is that Stoner's worked extremely well for me when I detailed for a living. I still use it on my white RAV4 as needed.

Based on comparing the SDS of each, the P&S Solvent-X has a higher inhalation warning.

skip the acetone; its strong stuff. A little kerosene or gas on a rag will dissolve tar.

+1 it can make plexi go white.
and the xylene not mild stuff either. if u smear on some paint.
non-smoke (non aromatic) kero should be mild. i use something similar also in lpg system as mild additive, with few drops of pea.
