Commercials that you hate.

Seriously now:
I spent 45 minutes on the phone tracking down the details of the "Three Day Vacation Voucher" promised along with "...your maximum tax deduction" at 1-800-Kars-4kids.

If it sounds too good to be true....

Any insurance company promotion, Liberty Mutual, stake from jate farm……. Here we have non stop online sports betting or casino game betting advertisements. Celebs even promote some of them. Then we have several in state casinos that run commercials pretty much back to back in the evenings. I hate commercials. We record as much as we can of what we watch and watch at a later date to fast forward. It’s the only way to go.

Liberty mutual.
Bibbity Bootual!

I'm going on the record for loving political ads-- both sides-- because they actually get right to the point. They don't hold back, and use all the psychology Madison Avenue is able to come up with.

They're ads with purpose, a known deadline, and you'll never hear from the sponsors again so they don't give a rip.

I worked in TV for 17 years and those ads paid my (meagar) salary. There are a bunch of duds out there. Ineffective. Those are the ones I hate, like I'd hate any other ineffective tool.

YouTube premium (my primary means of media consumption) along with Adblock on the computer, I’m not sitting through ads.

I do allow ads on BITOG though, I like it here and they’re only slightly annoying (sometimes it pops up right as I click something which pushes the entire page down making me click on the wrong thing).

Drug company ads shown on the national news, NBC-ABC-CBS.
Look up the out of pocket price for some of the meds on TV ads like Enbrel or Harvoni on Good RX.com and be prepared to be shocked.

Hate them all.
What about the one with Kylie Minogue on the mechanical bull? It was an ad for Agent Provocateur lingerie. "Will all the men in the audience please stand up?" That commercial was sadly banned from tv. It's on YouTube!

Jake from State Farm at 3am? Who is this? Uh it’s Jake from State Farm. The funny part is when the lady in the commercial asks what he is wearing then tells the guy she sounds hideous LOL.

What about commercials that we like? I like the one that I can’t find now that was on in like probably 2006 or 2007 of the guy hiding in the trash can then being dumped in the trash truck when it came. I can’t remember what the commercial was for but I know I liked it cause as like a 5 year old it was funny as heck.

This is EASY......

Hate Verizon commercial with the blonde.
Don't even want to mention her name.
Verizon blonde woman is totally annoying.
As one poster said record and fast forward if you have that option.

Here in Colorado we have a lawyer named Frank Azar "The strong arm" on every station and countless bill boards.
"If your injured in a car wreak you know what to do, call the strong arm"
Well the strong arm several years ago was pulled over for drunk driving(he's a known booze hound because he go's to the mountain casinos gets drunk and buys the house a round or two)and he hops out of the car and hides behind a bush.

I can't stand the currant Volkswagen commercials with people singing. Not only are they miserable to hear they play it 2x every commercial break.

I would not buy a Volkswagen due to this commercial.

I do not like it when they resurrect the dead as a spokesperson for a product. I find that in poor taste..

Yep. I cringe ever time I see something so terrible. Dead person must be rolling in their grave when commercial is aired.

The Indeed commercial. Wouldn't be so bad if Samsung TV or whatever didn't play it a lot. It's like "oohhh ohhhh ooohhh ahhh ahhh ahhh ahaha everything everything ahggahhhh" and some lady living in an old Volvo she bought on Bring A Trailer is getting a job.

I detest watching Tv. My I.Q. Drops lower that is naturally is every time I walk by a Tv. Tv is offensive.
