Color of GC gold.

I changed one vehicle last weekend from GC green to gold. I noticed the gold stuff has almost no color to it and it was almost like pouring water even though it was 50 degrees outside.

Anyone else notice this?

Castrol Edge 0W-30 in the UK is described as being "clear and bright." I'd say that fits exactly what you are describing from your own experience.

Easter egg dye is cheap so dye your oil any color you like. I just like oil that looks like oil.

I think that's the color. I could almost see through it as it poured out of the bottle. A very noticable change from the green stuff.
