Collinite 476S

Remember with the Collinites less is more. A couple swipes in the can with a damp cotton or microfiber applicator is all you need for a whole panel. If you can see a distinct waxy layer you're using too much and if you let it dry you'll never remove it. That's the number one reason complain about how hard it is to use. It really isn't if applied very thin and worked in well vs applied thick and left to just dry. It should look about as obvious as a smeared greasy fingerprint. Hard to see really, a test to see if you need to use more is press the applicator on glass and if you see stuff transfer to the glass you're still applying wax.

Less is indeed more with Collinite 476. Two very thin coats on both cars still look good a few months later. Applying it with a DA polisher helps spread it thin and evenly.

The trick with 476 is to use a water bottle and mist a panel. Then go over it with the wax. This will leave a very thin layer of 476 and be easy to buff off by hand.

As a side note fleetwax 855 and mold release 900 are the same thing as 476. So check into those to find out which one you can get cheapest per ounce. I base this off an old MSDS that had all 3 of those products on the same sheet.
