I have a CPO 2014 911 with clear bra on bumper, full hood, front fenders and mirror installed by previous owner. It looks like a precut kit not sure which brand and to my untrained eye looks like a perfect install. At highway speeds I had a whistle which I traced to drivers mirror. I placed Blue painters tape on leading edge and sound disappeared. I do NOT see anything wrong with install but needless to say the sound is there. I would like to have a permanant solution. Should take a heat gun (blow dryer) to the leading edge. Can I buy just the drivers mirror piece or trace old pattern on a bulk roll and cut it myself(off the car) and install myself it is a very small piece and shouldnt be to difficult or find an local installer to replace just that piece. Once again I cannot see what might be causing this whistle but it is there and is gone with tape on it. No whistle from passenger side btw. All input appreciated.

Certified Pre-Owned means it comes with a warranty.

A whistling mirror means part of it is defective.

Warranty time.

Clear bra is after market, I dont think any CPO warranty covers aftermarket parts....

This.

The only thing I can think to do is to find out who makes the bra and see if they'll warranty it,or if you can get it warrantied by the installer maybe?

Take the chip guard off the mirror caps. They're plastic, so any chips won't rust. Mirrors are less prone to chips than the bumper due to aerodynamics. And Porsche paint is durable anyway.
