Clean/polymer coated ammo?

I love the stuff. CCI Clean 22LR. Federal syntech .45.

It shoots clean, works well. Can’t hardly find it. No love. It wasn’t that much more $$, if any.

Anyone else shoot the polymer stuff? Any idea why it isn’t more common/popular?

if you reload there are plenty of polymer coated bullets to choose from. they are very popular in the shooting sports.

Yes, I am aware of that. A few outfits very close to me make them. Sometimes I want factory ammo though, like .22.
