I agree. Quite refreshing. They even have a section on their site where they offer "scratch and dent" items.

I saw the razor from the OP at Wal Mart today. The chrome plating on it looks very thick and nice. The package says it is solid brass underneath. It gets good reviews as a mild razor, too. I may have been hasty in my assessment.

At least, if you bought it at Wal Mart, you could return it easily if you don't like it. Might still need to be a few bucks cheaper to be a good deal, but $20 is not much money these days.

it may be worth a shot for a trial run,

my research showed some folks were not happy with the blades that come in the kit, but as was already mentioned I would have to find the right blades for my own skin and beard...
