Reading the info carefully...they tell you the advantages of PAO and then say: "The careful balance of synthetic components matched with selective mineral oils."...bla..bla...bla Looks likd just another blend of mineral oils/Group II with some PAO (maybe) [Frown]

Yeah, but this doesn't mean it's not a good oil. Schaeffers is proof of that, IMO.

Because he's running out of vehicles to put it in! I think he's got 6 cars now, all of them trying something different. Last I heard he was flagging down cars on the street corner to try out different oils! [Razz]

Personally I am real leary of anything Citgo. Their parent company PVD produces under it's own label some real weak oils that lose additives fast, shear, and start out with 2 to 3 ppm of iron and dirt right from the bottle. Isn't there a saying "like father like son?"

Widman we are well aware [Smile] you don't in particular like the Citgo stuff but maybe what we get is a different quality than is available where you live,,kinda like the Shell stuff sold in other areas of the world. Anyway it took a 3 weeks to get it to OKC from the Witchita KS Warehouse for some reason but I got my hands on it at 2.87 per quart [Cool] It meets all those Cat,Cummins,Mercedes Benz specs and is ACEA E3 and E5 in performance. I will put this oil through the acid test and analise,it will take awhile though because the miles WILL be ran up on it! Stay tuned for this oil that looks very good on the data sheet

Dragboat, I wish Atwoods would carry this. Their store in Fort Smith, where I got the Mystik, is the only Citgo lubricant outlet I can find. I'm in Tulsa and OKC a few times/year. Are there any stores there that carry it? Win
