The Autozone thermostat looked identical to the original. The original was staked in at the edges so must have been truly original equipment. Anyway, It's in there now. Had to use a Dremel tool to grind the staked points off so the new thermostat would seat right.
Someone on a Chrysler minivan forum suggested a specific Autozone radiator cap fit better on some aftermarket radiators. I may try that.
