my chonda unit came with this SAP branded F7TC model of plug. looking for a higher quality replacement, what equivalent NGK or Denso plug to get model number wise. is iridium available too?

Thanks i will get that NGK plug.
On further investigation the SAP brand is actually a Torch rebrand!!

whats a resistor spark plug? iv seen some in the ngk range that are platinum or iridium but use a resistor where as the BP7ES does not have a resistor in it.

lol standard non resistor plug it is then.
does it affect wifi signals?

Hmm denso iw22 iridium seems to cross with that ngk part number. But the denso is resistor type. Would it still work?

With NGK plugs - the 'R' in the model number - it is a resistor plug. Either or will work, I just usually get the R version because it doesn't make a hill of beans difference to the spark....in the real world it either works or the ignition is shot.

I have a HF engine that size I believe they put a name brand plug into. I can check that if you’d like.

Perhaps you can just get a plug for a Honda that’s that size.

The resistor accomplishes two things. 1. It limits the current of the spark but, not the voltage so plug electrodes last longer and 2. ir suppresses RF radio and TV interference. Ed
