This subject is interesting, as this farmland is just 20 minutes from the Grand Fork Air Base, which is home to some of the nation’s most sensitive military drone technology. I would think this would be an easy "thanks but no thanks to the Chinese buyers, telling the truth in the reason of no thanks, it is to protect national security. I am quite confident China would never ever permit a USA corporation to purchase hundreds of acres and set up shop near their sensitive military installations.

The base is also the home of a new space networking center, which a North Dakota senator said handles “the backbone of all U.S. military communications across the globe.
