Chevy 4.3 oversize filter

I've searched and can;t really seem to find anything. Very common engine, I'd hope there would be an oversize filter that would work on it.

It's a (choke) Fram PH3980 for reference.

I think the PF52 is the same as the 3980. That's a pretty big filter itself...

+1 That filter is also used in 4x4 V8 applications.

The PF52 is the oversize for a PF47 I believe. Not sure anything bigger will fit.

Wix 51040 is the shorty,51036 is the longer (but still slim)version.There is nothing longer (or fatter) that I am are of,due to the small gasket area and thread size.

PF52 is the large one. I've used both on mine with no difference but since they are the same price I stocked up on the PF52 ones.
