I was eating my Wheeties this morning while waiting for my 300,000mi Crown Vic to warm up that 5w-50 in the sump and I got to thinking about charged particles potential for use in Motor Oil or even gear oil.
The idea would be to somehow negatively charge the motor oil particles and in turn positively charge the engine bearing surfaces so the motor oil molecules are attached to key engine surfaces - beyond intelligent molecules.
I think this would be the same principal used with powder coating though I understand the majority of the strength comes from the melting of the "Paint" however it would ensure consistent coverage on key bearing surfaces and maybe even using less oil/ waste?
Maybe this is just too complicated?
