I changed the oil on my daughter's '07 4Runner V6 this morning.
The easiest oil change I've ever done on any vehicle.
The still spin on filter is in front and on top of the engine to the right.
Amsoil 5w30 and a Napa Gold filter.
All vehicles should be this easy.
Actually the wife's RAV4 is pretty easy.
No ramps and the oil filter and drain is easily accessed uner in front.
The IS250 is bit of a pain in the arse.

I noticed that with a '96 Toyota Camry too, where the filter was easily accessible right in the front of the motor. Didn't even have to jack up the car. But my car on the other hand, the filter is a pain in the butt to get to

On the back of the motor, above the suspension and right next to the catalytic converter.

Did the 4-Runner have the little plastic nipple covering a small drain for the filter? The ones I used to work on had a little rubber nipple that could be popped off to allow the oil to drain out of the filter mount. I always let it drain into the old filter...

I believe it was rubber.
