At this point I would say the counterfeits are really hard to spot - so best just to buy from a known reputable seller - RA, local parts store, etc.

Since you have them now - I would likely just install and monitor, unless its a really time consuming job - in which case see above.

When you search the Googles on this subject, top results come back to BITOG which is ironic. I am with others, contact Champion and see what they say. If they are fake, about some of the best looking fake plugs I have seen.

They look legit insofar as they were made in "a" spark plug factory. The way they cleave off the ground electrode is my clue.

NGK, when they show a counterfeit, shows that bulbous part between the hex and the "round thing" and how theirs is better machined. Yours looks good from this angle too.

The printing on the ceramic is shoddy, but could be factory. How is the box? Any typos? How's the typesetting? I can't see it in your blurry pic.

I did well with some NGKs from Amazon, they're copper and possibly legit, LOL: (NLA)

Clean nails...you must not wrench on cars much. kidding!!!!!

I would also say it is a genuine rebranded Champion. Not my first choice, but I would guess it will work fine.
Keep in mind Champion’s parent company owns Beru in Germany and has a joint venture with HyunKia’s parts divisions(Hyundai Mobis/Wia) or Mando as Yura Spark Plug. Champion is an OEM plug for JLR, BMW, HyunKia and older Subarus.

ok? not sure what I am supposed to infer from this...

I've never had a problem with Champion plugs. I run them in my lawn equipment and the Ducati. I use to put them in every Mopar that came thru my father's repair shop with no comebacks.

If they're good enough for Kenny Roberts, they're good enough for me.

Back on topic - I think they're counterfeit. The last Iridium Champion plugs I seen, the Champion logo on the porcelain was red/black.
