CH rated oil in a gasser???

I was all set to switch to Rotella T Synthetic at the next OC on my 2.0L VW Jetta. Then I read something on the board that inferred that I needed to be sure to use CI rated HDEOs in gasoline engines. Should I NOT use the CH bottles of Rotella that Wally World still has on the shelf???

Any comments appreciated!!!

If it says "SL" in the API donut it's fine.

I'm not aware of any Rotella that isn't suitable for use in a gasoline engine. All that I have seen is dual rated for both gasoline and diesel engines.

the CI rating would be for the TDI Volkswagon
