I see Cerakote advertised on TV. The ad says under $20. Paint sealant. And other similar products. Anyone tried it?

That's what I use on the headlights. It lasts a solid 2+ years where the headlights look brand new, literally. Eventually hazes again so far, 2 cars, 2 times. Didn't contact them about the lifetime warranty. I would imagine it's effective on paint too.

Their V2 coating and new Rapid Paint Sealant - Platinum are actually good products.

I can attest to the effectiveness of the Cerakote trim restoration wipes. I applied the treatment on our Nissan truck and Honda SUV with gray plastic trim in summer of 2023 and it still looks good today.

This is following their multi-step process. They say only use one coat with slight overlap. When I used 2 it was bad lol So this is why my hunch is that it would work on paint if instructions followed. I'm not disappointed that it lasts about 2 years with cars not garaged...
