Well, it's been a wild 7 months. We had our first kid, landed a new job, bought a house, and so I bought a smoker in celebration. Today was it's first run with a pork butt. Turned out great!

Nice smoking rig! I misread the heading…i thought it said Celebrity Smoke, thinking that this was about famous people smoking meats or something else. This is much better. Happy food smoking!

Looks great! I thought you were celebrating by smoking something else.

Looks like some decent bark I like it
The bark turned out great, actually. I don't know if it was a product of the rub (1.5:1 16 mesh black pepper/Lawry's Seasoned Salt) or the smoker, but it was better than anything I'd been able to produce on my Weber Smokey Mountain.

I do like alot of the Famous Dave's rubs to produce great bark and flavor.
