Haven't bought them yet, but this set of metric line wrench/crowfoot sockets have sure caught my attention.

http://www.astrotools.com/ put part #7121 in search

Crows foot part is pretty standard, but attaching point is 1/2 of a swivel adaptor. This can be used as a regular line wrench by using a standard 3/8 extension for a handle,up to any angle where leverage is lost and you'd want to add a 3/8 rachet and turn like a normal crows foot socket.

Available from Advance Auto Parts. Think I'm gonna give them a try.

This is right up my alley. I couldn't find a price quote though, I'm hoping sub 20.00 range. If not, my Christmas wish list.

Think they're in the mid $60's. Cheap enough to concern me if they're really any good. 12 peices, by the way.

Kingrob, have you ever bought a tool anywhere but Harbor Freight?

Bob

Yeah I have, but if I can get it at Advance Auto I don't expect to pay premium prices. Most of my tools are Craftsmen and Snap-on, BTW.

Bought them today. Advance didn't have them in stock, or in warehouse, so they were dropshipped from manufacturer (have an open business credit account). Came UPS, had I picked them up in store and looked them over good, probably wouldn't have purchased, as they have a bit of CCJ syndrome (Cheap China Junk), but will still come in handy one of these days when nothing else will get-er-done. If I were purchasing first time for a home shop, I'd still give them a real consideration since they'll replace both standard combination wrench, and crowsfoot socket sets .
