Apparently TBN is pretty low so my changing it out every oci or every other seems to be a good practice. It still performed well for me all this time and have used it for over 210,000 miles of the 368,000 miles. Granted I bought like 70 qts on clearance for nothing. Hoqe this helps someone who is interested in their transmission fluids.

For all practical purposes TBN does not matter in an ATF. You certainly would not want the fluid to be acidic so they add some buffer to prevent that, but without the products of combustion it's not going to have a continual ingress of acidic compounds.

And TBN does not affect wear in an ICE. It affects corrosion but not wear.
