Castrol synthetic GL-5..any good?

I am planning on doing a few drain and fills with this brand to break-in a front and rear gear set on an 03 Jeep Rubicon (Dana 44's and rear gear activated Torsen type limited slip).After I'm done doing a few drain and fills I will be going with either Redline or Pennzoil synthetics GL-5 for my final fill.The Castrol is relatively inexpensive at $12 a litre (Wal-Mart)as compared to $15-$19 bux a litre for the other brands..since it will only be in the diff. for a few months I don't want to get the good stuff till I'm done..what everybodies take on the Castrol synthetic gear lube?

I use it in my BMW with great results. Both their ATF and gear lube...car runs better than with M-1 lubes...either it's a better lubricant or lower in viscosity.

Thanks for the reply...I've noticed by smelling various GL-5 lubes that the Castrol syn smells the strongest of sulpher...is this good or bad?Pennzoil syn,Motormaster (Canadian Tire's syn),Mopar syn all have very little or no sulpher smell at all..not very scientific but I was just wondering.

Dunno...maybe it's the Limited-slip addative as most OTC's products out there are not suitable for limited slip applications, but the label says "only for top-up in LSD".
