castrol SLX 0W30

how can i tell the german version of this oil, and who carries the german version???

AutoZone carries the line of Syntec 0w-30 but it is not call SLX in the US market. It has a red label versus the yellow label on the black bottle and says "Made in Germany" on the back. The US made stuff says Castrol NA, Wayne, New Jersey.

Make sure you look closely because Autozone carries both. The dusty bottles are the best give away.

Careful with the red label !! there are a few remaining US made Castrol Syntec 0W-30 bottles around. Believe me, I got some. They were produced shortly inbetween the Yellow label and GC. Look for "made in germany" on the back to make sure. Also the German Made GC does NOT have a API Starburst logo on the front of the bottle!
