One thing, fewer people will have accidents crawling under their car and getting crushed, since this oil is changed from the top.
There was one thread on here recently where a guy's car slid off car ramps and did some damage, another common type of accident which gets avoided by using Nexcel.

The CELL was simply a user accessible cell that was easily drained and filled on your workbench then placed into the car.
Just open a stopcock and drain the cell then close and fill with your favorite flavor of oil.

Leave the filter up top like Subaru's.
Less mess and simple.
Filter is integral, no additional parts to buy or mess. The way they talk it will be sealed....and you can bet it will be chipped so if you put the wrong cell in your car it sets a code.
It will be more expensive for a whole bunch of reasons. Proprietary, dry-sump, packaging among other things.
