Castrol Edge fans will recall the GF-4 SM 0W-20 with it's amazing 220 VI. Unfortunately when reformulated to meet GF-5 SN requirements the VI took a serious hit dropping to only 162 about a low as it gets in a 0W-20 oil.
Well Castrol Europe have released the a new 0W-20 called
Magnatec Professional GF 0W-20 which is GF-% and SN rated.
It not labelled as synthetic consiquently it must be mostly GP III based but with an estimated 15% ester content, hence the "Magnatec" label. And this oil has a 220 VI.

The Castrol UK website is down but here's a picture of the bottle:

Thanks to UK member 'hermit' for bringing this to my attention.
Europe gets most of the interesting oils although is reasonably priced by UK standards.
