Castrol HM 10w40 and M1 10w40HM: what to do

Happy Sunday folks

I have 7 quarts of M1 HM10W40 and 3 quarts of EDGE 10w40HM from the stash to use up. Was contemplating mixing with some QSUD 0w20 from AAP blowout while back or. Maybe pops (real dad) 03' Dakota could use it. Thanks in advance

I had Edge 10-40 hm, I just mixed it with 5w20 in the old Tahoe. Depending on temps I put a little more or less 5w20 in.

I would use all the 10w-40 now being summer in that truck. Save the thinner stuff for winter temps.

Good point sir. I thought of blending some of the M1 10w40HM with 0w20 afe m1

Maybe it's just my automotive ocd,but I would never feel at ease mixing oils.

Adam how long between OCI on Dads truck? If it is a year I think if its going to be in there over the winter I'd just mix it 50 50 with the QSUD 0W-20.

Just run straight 10W40 over your warm months.

I'm running 10W40 myself right now.
