Here's a good website for locating Home Depot clearance. My local store doesn't have Castrol on clearance but does have select Fram orange oil filters for $1.20

So I saw some clearance in a town I was hitting up already today for other errands. Said 2 jugs at $6.30 a piece. Dropped in hoping to get lucky. Spotted a box of three Castrol 10w40 HM in the rack above the normal jugs. Found a nice guy willing to bring the ladder over. He said it's weird that they are here because all clearance oil was removed last week. Sure enough they rang up $6.30 a piece.
He was nice enough to poke around and scan some other stuff while up there and found a castrol Euro 5w40 on clearance for $8. I said I would gladly take it. That's all he could find but I was happy. So keep an eye out for castrol Euro 5w40 if you are at home depot.
Oh and when checking out, I totally forgot that home depot has veterans discount. Asked about it and entered my phone number and it took another 10% off. I guess I registered with them with military documentation at some point and don't even remember when. That extra $2.69 was a surprise bonus. Military discount doesn't work on clearance stuff at lowes.

Home Depot in Denver and north Colorado were all cleaned out of the clearance oil, only Castrol 20w50 white bottles were left.
Yeah it's weird. I grabbed 3 for $6.30 last week, but another home depot not terribly far away has some but at $24 also. Maybe they will be clearanced too soon?This must be regional as mine all show $24~
