Below is what I got off the Castrol info sheet for this oil.

Two of the claims(highlighted in bold) got my attention.

How exactly would oil help maintain boost pressure?

Anyone's guess. It's supposedly a very good oil.

Hmmm, maybe they are refering to their test to destruction commercial?
I would assume 10W60 would help an engine last longer than 5W20 if it was set up to run on a dyno at full throttle, max rpms, until engine damage occured.

Maybe the same thing with the turbo boost claim, ran full out maybe other oils start to coke up in the red hot turbo causing bearing failure before the engine with 10W60 does?

?

With the way Castrol advertises, you'll never know the truth. LOL. Did they use a torture test?

Yes torture test, ring of fire etc are common tests they advertise

The 45% i believe was the engine maintained its top speed for that much longer. Check the edge site, they have videos of each apparent test.

Define when one needs their engine "most".

Anyway, Castrol have some really good products...but their marketing is a bit over the top.
