My second UOA. The sample was the very last bit in the sump. Like an idiot I forgot to have the vial ready. It was about half drained when I remembered and grabbed the unopened Blackstone envelope in a panic, then realized I wouldn't get it out in time. So quickly put the drain plug back in, and got enough to barely fill to the top. Not sure if or how this affects anything or if it's the cause for the fuel, but I know Blackstone says this isn't ideal. I forgot to mention it to them so they didn't comment on it. I did drive the car a lot harder this OCI.

Otherwise I think it looks great. Now that I have the oil leak fixed there's no reason to look for anything else (Red Line is being returned FYI :rolleyes:😂). Thinking of going for 4500-5000 miles next OCI.

Same Mazda RX-8 (N3R1-14-302) Tokyo Roki Filter since acquiring the vehicle with 108,540 miles on Nov 20, 2020.

I was expecting more replies to be honest lol. I guess my Red Line query did no favors 🤷‍♂️

My main concern was the fuel and lowered flash point. Couldn't find anything on sample taken from bottom of sump contributing. Car was fully warmed up before doing the oil change. Don't do short trips either, or if I do a short 7-8 min drive, I drive again within an hour for 20 mins at least. Perhaps the cold weather warm ups? Or maybe just driving it hard.

Reading through the fuel dilution and flash point threads now. Thank God, or else it would've been a boring weekend! 😂
